Fishing Trips in VT
Kayak or Canoe Fishing

Whether you have intermediate experience fishing or none at all, we will adapt to meet your needs.  More and more experienced anglers are adopting kayaks as their main platform for fishing. Most of the fishing we do is lake small mouth bass, large mouth bass and trout fishing. Depending upon time of season.

Kayak Fishing Experience Levels

Beginner:   Learn the basics.  Paddle, launching, landing, securing gear,  introduction to fishing tactics and gear essentials. Harbor and lake launches available per request. Introduction to surf launching and landing (if it applies).

Intermediate:  A stronger emphasis is placed on tactics and techniques:  targeting specific species,  lure and bait selection, catching live bait, landing and/or safely releasing fish, fish cleaning (if it applies).  Learn more about the variables that can affect kayak fishing.

Fully Outfitted  kayaks, equipment and fishing gear included
$200 per person / $175 each when two or more

Partially Outfitted  kayaks and kayak equipment
$150 per person / $125 each when two or more

Non Outfitted  bring your own kayak and gear

Brook & Mountain Pond Fishing

Come on a fishing trip with EAVT.  We will take you down some of the small brooks and sreams trying your hand at catching a few trout.  This is a great trip for the first time fisher person.  We use simple methods of catching trout. Small poles and worms are used most of the time. We will walk along the banks of the stream fishing the small holes along the way.  We can also hike out to many of the small ponds that are rarely fished here in VT.  From mountain lakes to small bever ponds.

Raft Float Trip Fishing
You must obtain a Vermont state fishing licence.  We will help you get one of these before the trip.
Raft Float Trip Fishing

Beginner anglers can enjoy miles of the beautiful CT River. This is truly the way to experience Vermont! This trip will allow you to test your angling skills as our professional guides share their expertise.  We offer a one day trip and a two day trip.  The one day trip will take you about 13 miles on the river.  The 2 day trip will start off in the White river and then end down stream on the CT river. You will camp over night beside the river.  We hope to cook up you catch of the day for dinner.  But if there was no luck we will still have a great dinner beside the river.

2 or more people required.  Max of 8 people.

Price 1 day trip:  $150 per person
